Oak frames and oak trusses
	Smithfield joinery is a family run oak frame and joinery business. We produce a range of traditional hand crafted oak trusses and handmade oak framed buildings. Theses may include an oak porch, oak conservatory, oak garden room, oak extension, roof trusses, and garage or car port..
	As a small family business we are focused on the traditional craft of timber framing and specialize in traditional methods in our joinery. All joints, pegs and finishing are done by hand giving you a traditional handmade quality product. As well as making our own trusses and frames we also specialize in truss repair and our carpenters are well versed in oak splicing. For information about us and all our joinery service click here.

Building Renovations To go hand in hand with our oak joinery we also provide a full range of quality building and renovation work. We have undertaken work for a large number of private individuals, and in the past we have worked closely with English heritage and cadw and we have undertaken a number of listed building renovations. ModuLog Glamping Pod or Garden Office The ModuLog is a new and unique design of glamping pod or garden office made by Smithfield Joinery, It’s all handmade with locally sourced materials. In our design we use a modular construction method which allows customers to add as many modules as they wish and with 5 different module designs enabling customers to create their own personalized pod to suit individual needs.For more information about our Pod click here.

Oak Frame/Woodland Courses We run a number of courses from our woodland site. These include a 5 day oak framing courses, 3 day capentry and plastering course and a 5 day wood craft course. For more information click here.
